Pegboard Nerds Are Fighting Breast Cancer One Track at a Time

On the surface, it might be easy for one to devalue and pass early judgment on a campaign between two male DJs and breasts, as 2015 has not exactly been the year that has brought us even remotely closer to equality in the industry. This is all for naught, though, as below you will find out how two Scandinavian DJs give us hope for the future of branding in this industry. However good a cause it is, it is even better when it is done in a positive and creative way, which is what the Pegboard Nerds are doing with their #PinkCloud for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The duo known mostly for their notorious, genre-spanning DJ sets that redefine the word “party” are on an all-out mission this month to battle breast cancer by donating all the profits from the month of October to Fuck Cancer. The #PinkCloud campaign is a 360°, all-inclusive movement, if you will, that leaves no potential idea unturned. 

As with every Pegboard Nerd creation, video games are at the core of the promotional push. With a promo video straight out of a Super Nintendo game, the duo announced plenty of ways you can donate to the cause. Along with the Pink Cloud EP, special Breast Cancer Awareness Month merch is available for purchase. And in true 8-bit fashion, there are levels to unlock as more money gets donated.
